I love Actiontiles! What I miss is a way to show a HTTP response as a tile. I'm using Yamaha Musiccast and it would be great with a tile that can display the current track playing. Also - it would be great with an album art tile!

I have searched the forum for a similar request, but couldn't find anything.

Is there a bug passing credentials (username and password) to my video cameras on a panel's first load?

I use old Android phones running IP Webcam as security cameras in my camp - they're great because they have WiFi, a camera, a battery backup, and they're free.

Each one is available on the local network and also is port-forwarded through the router on a unique port. IP Webcam is configured to require a different username and password combination for each one.

If I open the URL directly in a browser (passing the credentials in the URL) it opens right up, so everything is working fine with the camera, phone and router configuration.

If I place my camera feeds on a panel as media tiles, on the first load they show as gray boxes with the "broken image" icon, until I right-click on each one and select "Open image in new tab", and then once they're authorized by the standalone tab I can click Refresh and the panel displays them correctly.

This behavior is the same as in the legacy SmartTiles dashboards.

I have 4 panels in my home running actiontiles with fully and DAKboard as screensaver.  Today, instead of screensaver from DAKboard, all my panels default to DAKboards home screen instead of the free screensaver.  Any ideas? Did the address of the screensaver move?  Trying to fix this.

For anyone who is wondering why the single-stream URLs that you are using from your BI web server have been crashing your BI, they seem to have broken that functionality in the last few releases. 

My single stream URLs that I was using e.g. http://192.168.1.*:82/mjpg/Cam5/video.mjpg&user=username&password=password 

started crashing BI. Regardless of how I was accessing (through a web browser or through actiontiles).. it just crashed it every single time.

The BI version I was using was 5.2.9.7. This is the latest release from the 2nd of May 2020. I reverted back to a release from April 5.2.8.3 and it works again.

I recently updated my streams and BI to support sub-streams to control the CPU usage, It seems like the new release had some improvements for the webserver and they inadvertently broke previous single camera stream functionality. THe new release has very good improvements for when you access BI through the main server URL and port.. it would stream substream and transcode to the main stream so you get the best of both worlds through the webserver.. i love that, however it broke my much needed single stream URLs that I love seeing on actiontiles.

Anyway, long story short, if you are confused about whats going on, I found the bug. 

I have now emailed support informing of this bug and I would urge you all to do the same so that we can get single stream URLs working again for action tiles.

Seems obvious, but probably a challenge, to support Ring cameras with the Media Tiles. 

hello :).... is there a way to display a local sensor like the aeotec multisensor 6 in the format of a smart weather station tile?...  it would be cool to be able to have multiple things on one tile.  

It would be RAD if the tile fonts resized themselves accordingly when the tile is resized. That would be super helpful vs having to create a new theme.

The problem is, when I enter my location loc=Wennigsen, DE I get an error. I checked the city here: https://openweathermap.org/city/2811072 and it works there (the next city near me also with the tile: https://mtg.actiontiles.com/weather.php?loc=hannover,%20de).

I have a WebCORE piston that executes properly if I "Test" the piston in WebCORE, but if I execute it via a button in Actiontiles, it doesn't perform as expected. It is regarding a virtual switch that sets the SHTM to "away" mode. I want it to delay 180 seconds. The WebCORE piston is as such:

With virtual switch
Wait 180 Seconds
Set virtual switch to "On"

So when I "test" the piston, it does this. I set up a shortcut in actiontiles to the piston, and put a button on my panel. When I press the button, it doesn't process the line that waits 180 seconds. Pretty stumped as to why. I've confirmed it's pointing to the correct piston.

Upgraded to the new SmartThings app three days ago and as of today, I cannot for the life of me get any new scenes to show up so that they can be added to a panel.  I've tried authorizing through the iOS app, the Android app, and via the Action Tiles website on my laptop.  I've clicked synchronize and initialize countless times.  No matter what I do, none of my new scenes show up in ActionTiles.  No problem with the old ones.  Any ideas on a workaround for this? 

New to ActionTiles and I can't seem to figure out how to get my Bloomsky Weather Picture to show up? I have it setup as a device in SmartThings and I am getting the readings from the Bloomsky but I don't see where I can add the image. Is this possible?

I have been able to display and update the current sky view from my Bloomsky Weather station / Camera for quite some time within a Media Dashboard tile.  I used the custom php script and it is located on a free hosting webserver. I set the update interval to 900 seconds as I think the Bloomsky image updates every 5 minutes or so. I can no longer display the image within a tile . I CAN display the image using the latest version of the Chrome Browser using this URL http://bloomsky.rf.gd/bloomSkyLatest.php

What I used to have to do upon initial ActionTiles Dashboard loading was to visit the URL for the BloomSky image directly within the Google Browser and then choose Update to allow the image to be displayed within the Dashboard tiles.  If I use that method now it will show the latest image via the browser , but not within ActionTiles.

I've added my compatible Samsung Smart TV to Smartthings, and reauthorized all my Things inside ActionTiles, but the TV does not appear in the list. Is this an error?

I recently bought a new washer and dryer that are Wifi Connected and integrate with IFTTT.  Here's what I want to do:

IFTTT Trigger for End of Washer Cycle -> Turns on Virtual Switch: WASHER DONE

IFTTT Trigger for Start of Dryer Cycle -> Turns off Virtual Switch: WASHER DONE

IFTTT Trigger for End of Dryer Cycle -> Turns on Virtual Switch: CLOTHES READY

Smart Button Push -> Turns off Virtual Switch: CLOTHES READY

So I know how I could integrate this in AT with two tiles, one for Washer Done, one for Clothes Ready... but is there an option to create a virtual switch that has three options? (I could customize the status' in DH - so there could be a 'WASHER DONE', 'CLOTHES READY', and a null option"

I am wondering what the recommended method to simply add a tile that has information on it is? For instance, I am making an "Emergency Info" with the address, phone numbers for non-911 emergency services in my area etc. I just need to create a tile and essentially give it a caption. I've searched for other topics, but most get more complicated than what am looking to do. Is there a simple method to accomplish this? Thanks in advance for any information! 

I am currently using RBoy’s rental lock automater coupled with a Google calendar / iCal link to provide rotating access to family members. Each member us their own access code for door locks/etc, and these only work for their “months” (which rotate). I’d like to provide access to a panel to allow them to set the thermostat/unlock doors/open the garage/etc, but *only* when it’s their month/when they’re staying at the house. Is there any way to do this without manually adding/removing shared access for different users every month?

If an iCal link is too hard, a CSV of emails/dates for access or similar could work... Any thoughts on how to make this work would be greatly appreciated!

Is it possible to have a ST device tile bring up a different panel when clicked? 

I have my Door/Window sensors combined into a virtual switch in ST and showing on my dashboard. I would like to be able to click the tile and take me to my "Security" Panel. I could accomplish this with two tiles, but just want to be sure I can't accomplish this. 

SmartThings classic just forced me to merge everything to the new app. I can’t create any new routines, and the ActionTiles doesn’t recognize scenes (as far as I can tell). Is there an update or workaround coming?

I have a “main” panel (overview/dashboard) with a tile to open a “lights” panel (that has ALL the light controls). Every couple days, the dashboard just switches itself to the lights panel. I’ll go to bed and it’s on the main panel, then in the morning it’s on the lights panel. Neither my wife nor me touched it in the meantime.

help? not a huge issue but definitely annoying when the point of the main view is to be the ever-present overview at a glance.
