How to open an APP from Fully kiosk browser?
for example spotify:// works fine in the silk browser (fire OS) But with fully kiosk is not working.. just a white new frame! thanks!!

Different Tablet Setups
I am considering using ActionTiles for an iMac and 2 iPads. My question is, can each device have a different setup layout. I will be using the iMac and 1 iPad. My wife will be using the other iPad. She requires simplicity.
How to put Tiles above one another
I found the attached screenshot elsewhere on the forum, how did this user put 2 tiles on top of one another to the right of a 2x2 tile? Compare it to mine (below this)

Activate Full Screen Mode as a Tile
Is there a way to make the "activate full screen" functionality a tile?
Discussion: Swipe gesture for tiles, stackable Tiles, etc.
Tiles that are tappable like buttons/lights/routines can only be tapped.
But what if we allow them to be swiped to trigger? Sometimes buttons near the edge of the screen may be accidentally tapped or tapped in the pocket of your mobile device. Swiping may prevent that.
This leads to another idea. Combining multiple tiles to fit in the same x y coordinate but differ in the z level. They can swipe up down left or right. To trigger the tile.
This could be useful for mobile defices that have limited screen real estate.
My idea for a UI would look like stacked scrabble tiles with the edges visible. If the tile behind is capable of changing states they would be slightly visible.
Some language keyboards do something like this. The iOS Japanese kana keyboard has a 3x3 keyboard
You can tap the あ to insert a あ or you can swipe あ left to get い
Imagine using this for different lighting scenes. You’d be able to include a lot without taking too much space.
Anyone think this is a interesting idea?
Camera Popup triggered by a Thing Event
I am looking for an way to popup camera for a XX seconds by any trigger like motion or switch(now we can popup when click on camera image).
I believe could be more simple then this Fire, Ring Doorbell, Fully, and Action Tiles I do not want to open other app, just see the full screen camera on AT.
Routine Tiles with Countdown (for Arming a house and leaving during countdown)
The basic scenario is when you leave the house and want to activate the "Goodbye!" routine for smartthings. It arms the house while you are still inside and triggering motion and open door sensors.
It would be great if there was a setting to run the routine with a time delay leaving me time to exit and lock the door etc.
State label not updated on SHM Tile in view-only Share
I think there may be a bug, or unexpected behaviour, with the view only mode for the Smart Home Monitor. If I keep the tile unsecured, the tile displays the status as a padlock (locked or unlocked) icon and with the word "armed" or "disarmed" below it. The same behaviour is true if I PIN protect the tile. But if I set the tile to view only, the tile only shows the padlock icon, the armed/disarmed text is not shown.
Looking for a Window Shade "Tile Icon".
First off, Hi everyone!
I'm just started setting up my ActionTiles and I have 8 of the z-wave controlled window shades that are controlled with ST. A few run as (Somfy Z-Wave Shades and Blinds Multi tile) and the others run as (Z-Wave Dimmer Switch Generic).
I was able to add them all in AT, but I don't seen an option to change the Switch icon to a Window/Shade icon from the choices to choose from. Will a Window Shade Tile Icon be added any time soon?

Changing mode - panel stays open
When clicking on the "Mode" tile to change mode - a menu opens to select the mode but the menu does NOT automatically close after selecting the mode. Requires the user to actively click the "x" to close
This is by design and not a bug.
All slide-up drawers (dimmer, color, routine list, mode list) stay open so that if the wrong choice is made, the correct choice can be immediately made without re-invoking the drawer.
The drawer can be closed/dismissed with "X", or it will timeout after 30 seconds.
I admit that the auto dismiss duration for "simple" drawers (routine and mode selection are simple, vs dim level and color are more complex) is probably a bit long.
Screensaver Feature
Would it be possible to get some sort of screensaver feature. My console is on my table and would make a nice digital picture frame when not in use.
A couple of possible ideas may be
1. Just a simple blank screen so it can be touched as you approach it.
2. After a certain time of inactivity make a picture media tile full screen and refresh it frequently.
3. Load pictures from a file hosting service such as onedrive. This may be too much to bother with.
How to avoid blank on next row when using 2x or 3x height Tiles?
Hello. I just started a free trial and I’ve setup my tiles but I seem to be having some trouble. Whenever I set the tile height to 2 or 3 the entire row below gets pushed down and leaves an empty space that drives me nuts. Is there anyway to get around this? Thank you!

Need help to Set Up Christmas Lights For House
It's nearly Christmas, How to set up Christmas lights to get a festive home for the holidays? Do you have a good suggestion ?
View-Only for individual Switch Tiles
But now I have the same question for lights.
I have a bunch of Hue lights integrated w/ Smartthings.
I'd like the bulb tile to only show status (on/off) and not be able to turn it on/off via panel.
In my use case... the panel is accessible to family (including kids)... want them to see status only, not interact.
The interaction happens through app that wife and I have access to.

iPad 2 clock is off 5 hours
I have an iPad 2 and the clock in ActionTiles is off 5 hours. I use the same link on an iPhone and a droid and the clock is correct. What is wrong with this iPad?
Update: I wiped this iPad. Now it is showing the correct time. No idea what was causing this issue but it's working now. Thanks for following up.
Going between panel shortcuts
I'm trying to setup my action tiles layout. I basically have a Home Panel. Then below it, I have Rooms. I have a Living room panel. When I go to the living room panel, how do I get back to my Home panel.
Two options:
- Put a Panel Shortcut Tile on your "Living Room" Panel that points to your "Home Panel".
- and/or Use the Panel's floating options button (...) and tap the Favorite Button ⭐.
Grouping lights for off/on commands
I am new to smarttiles as well as actiontiles. I am trying to group the lights in my house together by room so that if I click a button titled "kitchen lights" all the lights in the kitchen turn off/on. I have a panel for kitchen lights, with a tileset of all the kitchen lights I have. I am not sure how to add a button that allows all of them to turn on or off.

ActionTiles is currently "just" a control panel / viewer and doesn't contain any next-level functions like automations or triggered actions.
Linking the On/Off commands for a groups (a Tileset?) of lights is a nice contained case that we have as a Feature Request already, but not sure it will get priority because there are a few fairly easy workarounds.
Consult the SmartThings Community for more options, but the simplest recommendation is to use the official SmartThings App "Smart Lighting"...
Handle "mostlyOn" State for Trendsetter light group Switches
Hello,
I noticed on a couple threads you guys mentioned Trendsetter as a good option to group lights. I use Trendsetter and specifically the color light and light groups. The only problem I have with it is if all lights arent the same status (brightness and on/off state) the icon changes to a ?
I know thats just the app responding because it doesnt have a valid state of ON/OFF for the button. But the ? just looks really out of place. I would love to see it change to the default state icon of the tile instead of the ?.
I love the app and just a request here, or if you know of any way to work around it I'd be willing to try it :)

I took a closer look at Trendsetter to understand the exact situations it uses "mostlyOn" (and other non-standard State Values for Attribute "switch"). At this time, ActionTiles only handles the Commands, Attributes, and Values documented in the SmartThings Developer Documentation for Standard Official Capabilities. A Switch has Attribute switch(on,off). That's all. http://docs.smartthings.com/en/latest/capabilities-reference.html#switch
I do personally think the implementation of additional States in Trendsetter is clever and certainly not entirely unusual for custom Device Types, but without a standard, we would be constantly hardcoding additional customizations to ActionTiles. For a few "very popular" Device Types this may be justifiable, and/or, we can see what, ahem, trends arise in SmartThings development as more and more clever / creative DTHs are developed and shared. Non-Standard DTHs, though, just can't be expected to work with any or all arbitrary SmartApps, including ActionTiles. That means an entire sub-species of DTHs and SmartApps could evolve outside of SmartThing's documentation. It's a scary prospect, frankly.
In the meantime, the easiest workaround is for you to modify your personal instance of the Device Type Handler code to replace the non-standard Values with standard ones. In other words, decide to use either "on" or "off" instead of "half, almostAllOff, mostlyOff, or mostlyOn".
This is a code snip provided by one of our Beta testers when he experienced this same issue. Edit your DTH accordingly.

Bose Soundtouch presets missing
Hi guys,
is it any possibility to add in AT a presets from Bose Soundtouch? In ST app shows correctly and work like a charm. In AT work all functions from all of my Boses, except presets!

CO2 (carbon dioxide) Tile incorrect format
Hi!
Humidity from the same Netatmo station is showed correctlly, but CO2 dont. Look:
Value for CO2 is showed in bottom left corner!?
Device handler have for both values exactly the same logic.
In Smartings "My devices" i have this data from Netatmo:
So, CO2 value is showed correctly. Just like humidity!
Smartthings have also exactly the same capabilities-reference for carbonDioxide and humidity:
It must be something on your or Smartthings side. Please help with this issue.

We have made some significant changes to most tiles, CO2 Tile in particular. The changes are now in Beta. We are preparing for an imminent release to Production. Please stay tuned.
