Note:

• This is an update of the front-end web app only. The SmartApp "ActionTiles (Connect) V6", ie the connector to SmartThings, is unaffected. The SmartApp will change very rarely; but, this time, we actually do have a pending SmartApp deployment.
• The version number of the front-end web app is found on the upper right corner of the Login Page and in the About section of in-app Help.
• You will all receive the update automatically and simultaneously as we force a "reload" of the web page after deployment.
• You can use in the Reload App button if you suspect your browser did not refresh to this version.

I've been very successfully viewing a media stream of my Synology Surveillance Station for the last month or so, but it's suddenly stopped working in Action Tiles - the preview no longer displays the stream either. I know the URL is correct as a can copy and paste it into safari and it streams straight away.

Anybody any ideas what might have changed? The stream is in the following format:

Update for your browser compatibility notes: My 2nd generation iPod Touch worked with SmartTiles, but no longer works with ActionTiles.  It is running iOS 4.2.1 and cannot update further, nor can I install any other browsers from the app store.  The behavior is that the login page will not display, so I cannot authenticate to access my panels. I have no idea if the panels would work post-auth.

When using a small screen, it might make sense to have an additional Panel Navigation tile option that works like the initial Routines tile, where you press the tile and get a list of which panel you would like to navigate to. Otherwise, setting up multi-panel navigation on a small screen takes up a lot of screen space or causes a lot of scrolling.

Hello, is there a way to add support for google music? Even just for basic playback like pause and close which displays normally on the top bar of an android device if streaming using a google device. Ideally it would be more robust like the ability to pick a playlist if possible. 

I would love the ability to add a custom image as a tile display. Alternatively being able to add functionality to a media tile when clicked would give the same result.

There is a bug that may be experienced especially by new users... 

After adding your Location (➕) or Authorizing Things to ActionTiles, you may find some of them are not listed in the Location View and the "Add Thing Tile to Panel" dialog box.

This likely only occurs for Things selected from lists "3)" and/or "4)" on the SmartThings Authorize Things page. If the Things are shown in lists "1)"  or "2)", you can workaround this bug by selecting them there instead.

I have two Bose Soundtouch 10 speakers under Things in SmartThings, yet they don't appear when attempting to Authorize Things in ActionTiles.

The default Device Handler that they are both using is LAN Bose Soundtouch. I went as far as modifying the two devices in IDE to use Device Handler "Bose Soundtouch" but this didn't change the results. All of my other Things appear under Authorize Things correctly.

These speakers are Works With SmartThings certified so I'm classifying this as a bug as per Terry's instructions.

Any plans to support "Button" capability.  Have have a custom device handler that provides multiple buttons.  They work great thru the smartthings app.  Would like to add some buttons to my ActionTiles Panels.

Allow tilesets to be "global". That way I can import an already created tileset into a panel. This would make creating navigation tiles and creating multiple versions of the same panel a lot easier.

E.g. I need to create the same options for my andoid phone and my ipad but because of resolution, I need to recreate all the panels just with differnet tile size and different spacer tiles.

I'm really interested in the "normal" and "abnormal" ability to highlight a tile such as a contact sensor for a door as described above but would like to add that it should be configurable by Location Mode.   For instance, during the day, we keep all our bedroom doors open so I would like them to highlight only when closed, but when the house is in sleep mode, we keep the doors to the bedrooms closed, so during this mode, I would want them to highlight when open.  The configuration would need to be by tile (not device type), and have the ability to customize by location mode.

Can I get my Neato on ActionTiles?

Terry from our conversation earlier and what SmartThings introduced with their Favorites on the Dashboard, versus the existing SmartThings Widget that add ALL SmartThings Routines to it. Maybe there is an opportunity here to recreate as you stated, a version of the existing Widget to be able to access and run all Routine that have been previously added to Action Tiles.

What I think would be even more powerful would be to create this Widget, if it's even possible, to allow modifying of the widget to add / remove specific devices and routines from it, versus how the ST widget contains ALL routines with only a Refresh functional element. Also how for the flexibility of sizing the widget as you see in my screenshots, length and width. The ST default is 2x2 but it allows it to be resized vertically and horizontally.

Trying to find out what version of iOS and Android is supported. I don't seem to see this on the FAQ's...

Just been setting up my first Panel to replicate / replace a Smarttiles dashboard I have running. Very pleased with the new features and well worth the licence fee. The only 'things' I have been unable to add relate to my Arlo cameras. I have had the motion detector element of one of my cameras as a tile and also a switch to switch on/off the camera. They are not listed as an option to authorise though they are officially supported by Smartthings. Not a big deal - just wondering if I have missed something?

I'm still building out my home items.  It seems about every 3 day I've swapped or rebuilt something.  Can you make it easier to reload/re-authorize ST?  Make it easier to find the refresh?

As per various other cases, the Tyco Door/Window Sensor Device Type Handler code is incorrect: Some Things are missing from SmartThings Authorize Things screen?

Missing: Capability "Sensor".

We will file a request to SmartThings to have it corrected. They have been very responsive and helpful, but it will have to cycle through their deployment timeline.

In the meantime, if you are comfortable doing so; you can make a copy of SmartThings's DTH code from this link to "My Device Types", add new line. Then "Publish For Me", and update your Devices to use your personal copy. We will soon write a detailed KB on how to make a personal copy and add the line: Capability "Sensor" to it manually.
