shm alerts

I've read where AT can't reset SHM alerts but are they working on that or is there any kind of work around? I still use a Windows Phone (because I love it and I'm stubborn) and I have NO WAY to reset SHM alerts if I enable security!!

Hi Rob,

Unfortunately, SmartThings continues to offer no API into the "SHM alert sub-system".

The primary workaround available at this time is to not use SHM, but instead substitute a different monitoring-alarm-alert SmartApp for SmartThings. There used to be a fairly straightforward SmartApp called "Smart Alarm", but its development was abandoned.

 

I think some good monitoring-alarm-alert options have or can be built with WebCoRE. These can then be integrated with your ActionTiles Panel via Virtual Switches (e.g., a virtual switch would toggle on when an alert triggered, and to cancel the alert you would just toggled it off).
