Bose Soundtouch presets missing

Hi guys,


is it any possibility to add in AT a presets from Bose Soundtouch? In ST app shows correctly and work like a charm. In AT work all functions from all of my Boses, except presets!

Hi Stane,


The short answer is that we can't currently do it, but we'll consider it as a Feature Request.


ActionTiles is designed to conform to the "Capability" definitions of the SmartThings Development Standards, and there is no detailed specification for "presets" as far as I know...



I don't even know if Bose is a WWST™ (Works with SmartThings) certified device, actually; though it looks like they probably are:  https://www.smartthings.com/products/-/filter/brands/bose


Without a published official SmartThings standard, we can't be sure that ActionTiles will operate consistently with various Music Player Things.


The Bose DTH may implement presets using "ad hoc" custom Attributes & Commands. ActionTiles isn't compatible with these except on a case-by-case basis, which means ... take a number and get in the development queue! 😔
