Why do webpage shortcuts not work in the Tesla browser?

GoodyGizmos 6 years ago in Browsers Tablets Phones updated by Terry (ActionTiles) (Co-Founder) 6 years ago 3

I have a Tesla Model 3. One of the many things that is lacking in the Tesla browser is their favorites management (i.e. can't sort or organize). ActionTiles mostly works great in the Tesla browser, and I was hoping shortcuts would work well for this. But, when I click on a shortcut, nothing happens. Are other Tesla owners experiencing this?

Please test all 3 different Settings for the Tiles:

  • Open in same window
  • Open in pop-up.

Egg on my face! I checked for options in the 'My Shortcuts' section, but did not think to look at the Individual Tile level (which is the right place to put it). It works in 'same window' and 'pop up.' The Tesla browser does not have tabs, so it makes sense that nothing happens when set to 'new window.'

Thank you. Good to close, but keep in case anyone else is looking for the same answer, maybe?
