Display Sense Home Energy Monitor

Has anyone tried to setup a display of the Sense Home Energy monitor? I know there is no public API yet, it would be nice if they even had a simple JSON API that could be used with shields.io.

Best to check on https://community.SmartThings.com ; as there are plenty of folks who love writing Device Type Handlers (if possible).
