Panel disappears upon edit or "You are not authorized to view" message

Stephan Hackett 8 years ago in Panels (dashboards) updated by Alex (ActionTiles) (Co-Founder) 8 years ago 7

I got this error after editing one of my panel. I backed out to the MY PANELS page it was no longer listed there at all. It was a small panel so I moved on to editing my home panel...that took quite a while to get setup...same thing happened. I still have links to these GHOST panels in my other panels..but clicking the link gets me the error above. I believe at one point the error also said "this panel is empty" but I cant seem to get that error again.

Confirmed Bug

Thanks for the problem report, Stephan...!

I cross-referenced this with a couple of our Helpdesk Tickets and believe we have found the root cause. Please follow this Topic for updates as we research and implement a fix or workarounds.

Our apologies for any inconvenience you experience in the meantime.

Sincerely,

...Terry.

So there is hope that I will get my panels back. I'll wait till I hear back from you before I start to rebuild the panels then.

Fix Planned

We think that most time this Bug occurs, the Panels are "permanently lost". It is not a good thing, sorry 😞.

I opened a Helpdesk Ticket for you so we can take a closer look if you want.

Meantime, we're giving this bug very high priority for resolution and think we are close.

+1
