Is there a way to trigger a Shortcut or open a Panel based on a SmartThings Event?

Can a switch trigger a shortcut tile? Or as an alternate, can a switch be used to auto switch to another panel?

I came to the forum today looking for this exact thing. Here's my want/need . . . I have (actually hope to soon) an iPad in our kitchen. If the basement light is on, I'd like a panel that shows the tile for the basement only. This will figuratively hit a certain someone over the head to shut it off. Yes, I know I could do the motion sensors, etc., just not there yet.
Also, likely not the correct discussion, but I too would like to be able to enable a PIN to change the status of just about any type of tile.
Loving the product so far, keep up the good work!

One could use a "Security Panel" with Arm Disarm and Security side if a Virtual Switch was tripped. Making it easier to disarm your armed system. I like the Idea of this.
A kinda back door way to do this. Using Sharptools you can have tasker usage. Then with tasker you can have it trigger web page using the action tiles url. With fully kiosk you can force full screen.
It's a little convoluted, but a solution. I did test it and it worked.
Tasker only works on Android, correct?
I've always had Android, so never really checked if its available for IOS.
Corrrect only Android. It would make a world of a difference if Tasker was allowed on iOS devices
I have ipads throughout my home... I wish Tasker was available for iOS
