Tips for the Theme Builder
A Theme is a set of colors (and other characteristics in future versions) that can be selected for a Panel and its Tiles. Four Intentions (info, normal, accent, and warn) are provided with distinct color combinations in each Theme. Intentions can be assigned to the various states of Things on your Panel using each Tile's Settings in Panel Builder.
Use the Export Theme and Import Theme to backup or share your Theme in JSON format (plain-text block or .json file).
A color may be specified by tapping the color picker or directly entered in any of these CSS standard formats:
- HTML color name.
- Color hex string: #RRGGBB[AA] (AA is optional opaqueness alpha value).
- rgb(), rgba() or hsl() function.
The web has many tools for generating colors, such as W3Schools Color Picker. Try an eyedropper browser plug-in like ColorZilla to match colors on other websites. To use RAL Colors (popular in Europe), cross reference to CSS compatible color values using W3Schools RAL or RGB.to/RAL.
